Hurricane Irma Experience: Like a 'Lawnmower From the Sky', a Caribbean Tourist said...

Hurricane IRMA... "It's like someone with a lawn mower from the sky has gone over the island..." That's how Marilou Rohan, a European tourist visiting the island of Sint Maarten, part of the Netherlands, described the experience.

Eric Blake, a scientist with the National Hurricane Center tweets:

"I have little doubt Irma will go down as one of the most infamous in Atlantic hurricane history."
