September 21, 2017 6:52 AM
Dominican officials said they were concerned about the potential for flooding from the heavy rainfall due to Hurricane Maria.
The ground is still saturated and the rivers are swollen after hurricane Ira that passed through the Dominican Republic just days ago.
Although Maria will not make a direct land fall in the Dominican Republic, the country may still suffer from the heavy rainfall that is expected.
